Catechists Needed
Do You want to Know, Love, and Serve God?
Do You want to share your faith with others?
Do you want to plant the seeds of faith for years to come?
We are in need of volunteers as Catechists and Assistants for all grade levels. We need at least one catechist and one assistant for each grade. You do NOT need to know everything about the Catholic Faith in order to be a catechist. Holy Apostles offers teaching, training, and materials to help.
Catechists serve as the primary teacher of the lesson plans for each session.
Assistants serve as an aid to the catechist.
* In order to comply with Diocesan Safe Environment requirements, Catechists and Assistants must be registered parishioners and have been active in the parish for at least six months. They must go through a background check and complete VIRTUS child safety training.
