According to Saint Faustina, Jesus told her to communicat to the whole world that those who go to confession and receive Holy Communion on the Feast of Divine Mercy will obtain complete forgiveness of sins and punishment. Jesus is bestowing special graces on this day.
Additionally, one can also receive a plenary and partial indulgence as Decreed by the Holy Father, Saint Pope John Paul II. The plenary indulgence is granted under the usual conditions (sacramental confession, Eucharistic communion, and prayer for the pope.) More information is available in the narthex.
How to Prepare: Examine your conscience and go to confession before receiving Communion on Divine Mercy Sunday (or Saturday Vigil Mass).
Join other women of faith in the Diocese of Colorado Springs for Holy Apostles’ 4th Annual Women's Lenten Retreat prepared for you by the Holy Apostles Deacons' wives and friends on Saturday, March 14th at Holy Apostles from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m in the Parish Hall.
Reflect with others on the theme: "Illuminate!" with adoration, confession, lunch, refreshments, music with the Roman Catholic Chamber Choir, and much more.
The registration fee is $38, and scholarships are available.

The Knights of Columbus monthly breakfast will take place on Sunday, February 15 after the 7am and 9am Masses.
Donations from this breakfast will go to support Catholic Outreach to Neighbors in Ukraine (CONU) and EWTN Ukraine to provide religious education booklets for children.
Come and enjoy a great breakfast and fellowship with other members of the Holy Apostles family.

Holy Apostles and the Holy Apostles Knights of Columbus Council 14338 are hosting a Blood Drive on Monday, February 2 in Wicker Hall. Please help us help others with our donation of blood to assist those who may need a transfusion because of an accident or operation that warrants additional blood.
Go to Vitalant.org and signup to donate your blood. Choose “Holy Apostles Monday, February 2” and select the time you would like to give blood.
The next Knights of Columbus breakfast is on Sunday, January 18 after the 7am and 9am Masses.
