Holy Apostles offers a dynamic style of catechesis centered around peer relationships and discipleship for grades 6-12.
Youth Group: Meets on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month from 5:30-7:30 p.m. and will cater primarily to grades 6-8. Students from grades 9-12 are still welcome to join! It is aimed at helping the students understand Christ as the source of their identities and to build a peer group of fellow Catholics through social activities. The Youth Group plays a vital role in the student's preparation for Confirmation, which acts as a capstone or milestone experience within the program.
Post-Confirmation Small Groups: Meet on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month from 10:15-11:45 a.m. and is for those who have undergone confirmation. These groups will be separated by gender to create a girl’s and a guy’s group. The focus of these groups will be to build community and to help the youth know how important it is to grow in their faith with others. The specific studies will be based on the interests of the youth. Topics include, but are not limited to: Marian consecration, Theology of the Body, Vocational Studies, Scripture studies, etc. The older students may also be invited to practice discipleship by becoming student leaders within the Youth Group, helping to plan and lead the games and discussions.
