You are invited to participate in a program of prayer for spiritual growth based on the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola. Abide in Me is a nine-week program designed to help you deepen your prayer life and your relationship with the Lord through personal prayer using Sacred Scripture (1/2 hour daily on your own) and a weekly group sharing experience. Facilitated by Sue Athey, certified spiritual director and a lay Carmelite for over 23 years, the group will meet Wednesday afternoons beginning October 18 from 3:00-5:00 p.m. Meetings will be in-person at Holy Apostles in the St. John room downstairs. There will be a phone interview to follow to answer any questions about the class and explain the format of the class. The number of participants is limited and no registrations will be accepted after the first meeting.
